With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Coblentz of Nottawa, Michigan, born in Centreville, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on September 20, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Schwartz and Barbara Schwartz (Wickey); her husband Dave of Hartville, OH; her siblings, Barbara Stauffer, Chris, John, Joseph, Peter Jr., David and Fred Schwartz; her children, Dwayne, Marsha and Martha; and her parents-in-law, Mose and Amanda Coblentz (Sommers).
She is survived by: her children, Dwight Coblentz (Kathy), Debi Schrock (Mark) and Sherry Coblentz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Locust Grove Mennonite Church (29525 Findley Rd, Burr Oak, MI 49030). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Locust Grove Mennonite Church.
