She was predeceased by: her husband David O. Sweeney; her parents, Charles C. Hinman and Mary Katherine Hinman (Woch); and her sister Maria Denise Hreha (Hinman). She is survived by: her niece Michelle Hreha; her nephews, David Hreha (Cheryl), Michael Hreha (Kelly) and Dan Hreha (Katrina); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael Sweeney (Lynn), Dean Sweeney and Terry Sweeney (Ed); her grandchildren, Scott, Alexis, Danielle and Lauren; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany, Stephanie, Hannah, Heather, Ella, Ashley, Amber, Amanda, Anthony, Zack, Drake and Jack; her cousin Gloria Boduch; and her sister-in-law Janet DeLucia (Mark).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, an organization close to Carol's heart.
