He is survived by: his wife Susan Dear; his children, Peter Joseph, Sarah Delger (Chris), Bryan Helmkamp (Amanda) and Matthew Helmkamp (Sarah); his grandchildren, Maxwell, Savannah, Jameson, Grace and Sophia; and his sisters, Jo Cotey (Jim) and Linda Rozewicz (late Steve).
