He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Malm and Antoniette Malm; and his daughter Julie (Jim Ziraldo). He is survived by: his wife Carol Malm; his children, Donna (Guy O'Hair) and John (Debra Malm); and his great grandchildren, Allison Ziraldo, Katie Ziraldo (Jake Carnes), Douglas O'Hair (Mary), Mitchell O'Hair, Denise Malm, Kassandra Malm and Seamus O'Hair.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made to the Alzheimer's Association, supporting research and care for those affected by this debilitating disease, in honor of Ed's courageous long-term battle.
