He was predeceased by: his parents, Paula Hanpeter (Vahlkamp) and Armin Hanpeter; and his siblings, William, Robert, Dorothy Hanpeter and Betty Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Brad (Terri), Eric (Laura), Paula Prisby (Chris) and Gregg; his grandchildren, Robert Hanpeter, Julia Ditmore (Eric), Matthew Hanpeter (Emi), Emma Raupp (John), Alysse Hanpeter, Carl Hanpeter and Grace Prisby; his great grandchild Isabella Raupp; and his brother Paul.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 7:30 PM at 1340 W Long Lake Rd, Bloomfield Township, MI 48302.
