She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene and Elizabeth Kuhn; her husband Robert Saul Packard; and her brother John Kuhn. She was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.
She also supported numerous causes, particularly around voting and education, including active support to the Detroit Public School Foundation despite having no children of her own.
