He is survived by: his children, Michelle Nordberg (James) and Donald Massara (Fran); his grandchildren, Tory Massara (Jessica), Bianca Massara (Thomas Shriver), Madison Leister (Jesse) and Luca Massara (Florence); and his great grandchildren, Lilianna Massara, Asher Massara and Jessie Leister.
