He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kapron and Jean Kapron. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sisters, Nancy Cairns (Jim) and Janet Furchi (Vince); and his sister-in-law Joyce Ambrose. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew and great-great-niece.
