He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“I grew up with Jay on East Brook Road. We were neighbors and really good friends until his family moved away. I recall all the whiffle ball games we’d play with all his brothers. I’ll never forget how happy he was one Christmas when he got his first bike. He rode it around in a snow storm...he was SO proud!! I also recall his love for peanut butter and jelly and his KC Chiefs helmet that he’d wear so proudly. My condolences to his wife and both families. David D’Onofrio 🙏🏻”
