She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Bernard "Bernie" Coon and Maxine Ann Coon (Ries); and her sister Jaye. She is survived by: her daughter Tanja Thomas (Morgan) of Oak Grove, Kentucky; her granddaughter Nyla Mae Thomas of Oak Grove, Kentucky; and her siblings, Cindy Wageman (Steve) of Gillette, Wyoming, Gretchen Kristola (Jay) of Calumet, Michigan, Kathy Marino (Joe) of Houghton, Michigan and Michael Coon (Amy) of Hancock, Michigan. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
