We announce the death of Jerry Willis Sliger in Novi, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 80. Jerry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sliger and Auda Sliger; his stepmother Maureen Sliger; his siblings, Jewell Sliger, Cecil Sliger and Jimmie Sliger; and his sisters-in-law, Vicky Mastantuono, Elaine Ward and Eva Braley.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Sliger; his daughters, Auda Sliger and Jennifer Heckler; his grandchildren, Kaleb Brabbs, Jaden Ostrander, Julian Brabbs and Ethan Beattie; his siblings-in-law, Madeline Smith, Wallace Braley and Jeff Braley; and his nephews, Dean Sliger and Zackary Smith. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
