It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Koinis (Novi, Michigan), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 24, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Frank, Raymond, Christopher and Xenophon (Alice). He is survived by: his wife Alice; his sons, Peter Koinis (Constance) of Houston, TX, Steven (Reem), Michael (Rena) and Gregory; his grandchildren, Zeina Koinis, Katherine Monk (Koinis), Christopher Koinis, Maria Eleni Soechting (Koinis), Kara Bergerson (Koinis), John Peter Koinis, Kevin Koinis, Jessica Koinis and Julia Koinis; his great grandchild Andrew Bergerson; his brother William (Patricia); and his sisters-in-law, Nora Retsinas of Tuscon, AZ and Georgia Sakas of Dubuque, IA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations go to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
