John Sorby Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Sorby of Novi, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 15, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Sorby and Viola Sorby; and his wife Joanne Sorby (Thomas). He is survived by: his children, Janine Fruehan, Kevin Sorby (Christy), Scott Sorby (Tammy) and Kristen Cislo (Chris); and his grandsons, Troy and Nolan Sorby (Allison).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of John Sorby, to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church - Missions Fund. Donations will be used for advancement of the Gospel here and around the world.
