He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Firek and Irene Firek; his wife Joyce; his children, Laura Grant (Ken), Kathryn Stanton (Fred), Marc Firek (Ellen) and Jessica Colaluca (Bill); his grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Sarah, Duncan, Maisie, Jasper and Tess; and his great grandchildren, Gus, Hendrix, Dempsey, Shiloh and Landon.
