She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sather and Irene Sather (Markham); and her brother-in-law Peter Rathmann. She is survived by: her husband William Prain; her sons, Andy Prain (Erika) and Joe Prain; her granddaughter Elena Prain; her siblings, Jan Rathmann, Steve Sather (Nancy) and Scott Sather (Sue); and her sisters-in-law, Sandy Parker (Keith) and Cathy Witt (Ron). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
