He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucie McBride and John M. McBride; his wife Joyce; his son John McBride; and his siblings, Frances Brooklier and William McBride.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie MacDonald (David) and Karen Bawden (George); his daughter-in-law Marsha McBride; his grandchildren, Gina Stevens (Mark), John McBride (Cherie), Carl Sheppy (Kim), Karrie Chafetz (Zack), Margot McLaughlin (Whit), Matthew Bawden (Reece) and Colleen Bawden (Samantha); and his stepgrandson Matt Shireman. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
