She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley E. Elya and Lotta Elya (Reid). She is survived by: her husband Richard Cassar; her children, Cassandra Kniaz (Gregory), Richard A. Cassar Jr., Robert Cassar (Roshelle) and Catherine Wolfe (Garreth); her grandchildren, Alexander, Liam, Adriana, Elizabeth and Dominic; and her sister Louella Mosciski.
