It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max H. Roder III of Novi, Michigan, born in Marion, Ohio, who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Roder Jr. and Anna Mae Symonds; and his great grandchild Adrian De La Rosa. He is survived by: his spouse LaReta Smith; his children, Jason Roder, Jody Monroe and Elaine Morgan (Tom); his grandchildren, Athena De La (Dan), Konrad Shepherd and Kai Shepherd; his great grandchildren, Alex and Erin; his sisters, Alice Roder and Janet Roder; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Duering and Hazel DeSaulnier (Al). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
