He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Sabbe and George Sabbe; his wife Patricia; and his brother Joseph Sabbe. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Prondzinski (Mark) of Tega Cay, SC, Cheryl Haley (Robert) of Farmington Hills, Angela Ellis (Steve) of Northville and Trish Keranen (Jay) of Bloomfield Hills; his grandchildren, Leila Haley, Jack Ellis (Adriana), Marc Ellis, Charlie Keranen, Ava Keranen and Lukas Prondzinski; and his siblings, Marie Smith and Don Sabbe. He is also survived by five nephews and one niece.
Donations in his memory may be directed towards St. Bavo's Catholic Church (Mishawaka, IN), Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church (Northville, MI), and the American Diabetes Association.
