He is survived by: his grandchildren, Stephanie Rosenbaum (Jared) and Jeremy Bloom (Chris Bergen); his great grandchildren, Alexis, Emily Rosenbaum, Jackson and Chloe Bloom; and his brother Gerald Bloom (late Joan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

“Murray was a dear customer of mine for years since I sold the supplies he needed for his rya rugs. He called me often when he ran out of supplies and we had nice conversations. He was my oldest customer-friend and always reminded me to hurry up to complete the book I was writing on rya rugs because "I'm not getting any younger, you know." I finished the book and emailed him. Then called and found his phone was disconnected. Then I googled and found his obituary. I will miss him. Melinda Byrd”
