He is survived by: his wife Rita (Gedrovics); his sons, Steven (Kathleen), David (Laura) and Andrew (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Andrew II (Tara), Adam (Laura), Shawn Sparks, Stephanie Sparks and Jessica Shaeffer (Eric); his great grandchildren, Claire, Lucas and Logan; his brother-in-law Jack Horvath; and his nieces, Karen Horvath and Susan Hamburger (Michael).
Memorials to honor Norman may be made to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, the University Lutheran Chapel in Ann Arbor, the University of Michigan Marching Band or a charity of donor's choice.
