We are sad to announce that, on November 21, 2021, at the age of 92, Otis J. Olson of Novi, Michigan, born in Mendota, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver Olson and Edith Olson; his wife Donna; his children, Shirley Thompson (Chris), John Olson (Laura) and Robert Olson; his grandchildren, Jennie VanLoenen (Will), Rebbeca Thompson, Kellee Olson and David Olson (Ravenne Lang); his great grandchildren, Lily and Liam VanLoenen; and his siblings, Eleanor Zimmerlein, Doris Johnson, Marilyn Shifflette (Raliegh) and Maurice Olson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

He was genuine and kind to me as a newcomer, and continued with a sense of dedication and humor as a diligent co-worker for many years. I hate to think of him being gone, but I know his family has many memories to keep in their hearts. Richard Nellums (retired from Eaton in 2009).”
