He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Cyril and Aurelia; his wife Patricia; his daughter Cheryl Giesa (Patrick); and his siblings, Frances Stringer, Chester Carter (Phyllis) and Joan Gomez.
He is survived by: his children, Carole Karbon (Patrick), Cynthia Hutton (Dave) and Michael Cywinski (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kate (Drew), Scott, Erin (Keifer), Kevin (Breanna), Bryan (Samantha), Joseph, Jacquelyn and Jenna; his great grandchild Jack; and his brother Donald Carter (late Doris).
