He was predeceased by: his father Ivan Wilcox; his wife Louise; and his sister JeanAnn LaCombe (late Dave). He is survived by: his children, Rob Wilcox (Anne), Brian Wilcox and Dawn Patterson (late Steve); his grandchildren, Grant, Mitch Wilcox, Marisa, Haley, Keegan Wilks and Kayla Patterson; his niece Gigi Jackovich (Eric); and his nephew Scott LaCombe (Sue).
