It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gerald Stefanek (Novi, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Matyjanowski Stefanek; his brother James of Atlanta, Georgia.; and his children, Susan Willis (Steven) of Howell, MI, Kenneth Stefanek of Belleville, MI, William Stefanek of Rochester, MI, Patricia Blattner (John) of Livonia, MI and Robert D. Stefanek (Leah DeRose-Wilson) of Colorado Springs, CO.. He is also survived by his father-in-law, sons, and grandson.
He took pride in witnessing every high school and college graduation that his health (and the pandemic) would allow.
