He is survived by: his wife Elvera Julia "Judy" Ward; his children, Daniel Ward (Leslie), Elizabeth Ward, Mary Gilliland (Charlie), Vincent Ward and Valerie Hetkowski (John); his stepchildren, Gregory Taylor, Julianne Giachino (Dean) and Daniel Taylor (Lori); and his grandchildren, John Hetkowski, Hunter Taylor, Jenna Giachino, Adam Giachino, Siena Spitzig, Tucker Gilliland, Taylor Gilliland, David and Sarah Ward. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home (41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St James Catholic Church (46325 W 10 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48374). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (46325 W 10 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48374).
