He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Judye Sokolov Leavitt, Dr Matt Leavitt, Dr Mark Sokolov, Debbie Sokolov, Cheryl Sokolov Woolf and Scott Woolf; his grandchildren, Lauren Leavitt Kieffer, Dr. Jason Kieffer, Dr Adam Leavitt, Jessica Switzer Leavitt, Danielle Leavitt, Ari Sokolov, Jesse Sokolov, Corey Sokolov, Eric Woolf and Ryan Woolf; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Kieffer, Maddox Kieffer and Benjamin Leavitt.
Charitable contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to organizations supporting mental health services, older adults, and families in need, including Jewish Family Service of Metro Detroit.
