He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Welch and Aurielda Welch; his daughters, Mary Ann and Catherine; and his grandson Aidan.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine (Kay); and his children, Mark (Brenda), Theresa Myers (Lyle), Amy Kelley (Michael), Michael (Jennifer), Daniel (Karen), Joanne Kerr and Jason (Melissa). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
