In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Amalia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Amalia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She is survived by: her husband Eduardo Reyes; and her stepchildren, Edgar Aguas (Neddie), Benedick Aguas (Gertrude), Anthonette Sanchez (Neil), Allan Reyes (Arlene), Levi Reyes (Kathryn), Anne Craig (Billy) and Jay Reyes (Lauren).

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home (23690 Woodward Ave, Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (Also Known As Our Lady of Fatima Church) (13500 Oak Park Blvd, Oak Park, MI 48237).
