Elya Yakhkind Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elya Yakhkind of Oak Park, Michigan, who passed away on August 25, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Lev; her child Zhanna Shteyngart (Yakov); and her siblings, Anna Kausman and Michael Raginsky. She is survived by: her son Alexander Yahkind (Veronica); her grandchildren, Irina Fruitman (Edward), Andrew Yahkind (Emily) and Michael Yahkind (Julie); her great grandchildren, Dr. Kate Fruitman, Hannah Fruitman and Ansel Yahkind; and her sibling Polina Raginsky.
