With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eugene Kowalsky (Oak Park, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eugene left this world on October 31, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Cherna Kowalsky; his children, Joseph Zelick, Leeba "Lisa" Rosenthal (Pinchas) and Julie Lauer (Yanki); his sisters, Reva and Betty Stasson Loving (late Jerome); his grandchildren, Shana Aarronson (Dovid), Miriam Ray (Yoni), Shimon Bell, Riki Schild (Josh), Moshe Bell (Luly), Faygie Feiner, Frayda Baila Rubin (Rafi), Yaacov Feiner, Ariella Bell and Yonaton Rosenthal; and his great grandchildren, Yitzi, Chezkie, Tiferet, Shayna, Yosef Chaim, Sarah Dassy, Emuna Bracha, Chaya, Rachelli, Devorah Shifra and Avigail. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, and many extended family, as well as friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 9:00 PM at the Hebrew Memorial Chapel (26640 Greenfield Rd, Oak Park, MI 48237). A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM.
