He was predeceased by: his wife Bess Friedman; his parents, Amalia and Bernard; and his brothers, David Friedman (late Frieda) and Abraham Friedman (late Erna).
He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Snyder (late Michael) and Miriam Siegel (Shalom); his grandchildren, David Snyder, Daniel Snyder, Golda Shanet (Chaim), Mordechai Siegel, Rivkah Wininger (Shalom Akiva), Hillel Siegel, Malka Siegel, Shoshana Siegel and Yosef Siegel; and his great grandchildren, Chani, Rochel, Ahuva, Dina, Hadasah, Yochanon Wininger, Yonason, Rafi, Atara and Yair Shanet. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
