He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Lindsay Elkins (Alex), Meredith Kamin (Martin) and Dylan Ritter; and his grandchildren, Rosa Helfman-Elkins, Dmitry Helfman-Elkins, Sylvie Kamens and Jesse Kamin.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hebrew Memorial Chapel (26640 Greenfield Rd, Oak Park, MI 48237).
