He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Hechler and Dora Hechler; his wife Rose Hechler; and his siblings, Iszzy Hechler (late Molly), Bobby Hechler (late Loretta) and Marilyn Bloch (late Manny).
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Hechler and Andi Weiss (Mark); his grandchildren, Kevin Weiss (Amy), Scott Weiss (Elyse) and Kimberly Weiss; and his great grandchildren, Eliana, Samuel and Gwendolyn Weiss. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
