With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Hitow of Oak Park, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his child Stacey Hitow; his sisters, Andrea Hitow-Kennedy and Sandi Feldman (late Ronald); his sister-in-law Judith Friedman (late Bernard); and his nieces and nephews, Deborah Friedman, Kenneth Friedman (Sharon), Brian Feldman (Tina), Amy Feldman, Jacob Kennedy and Benjamin Kennedy. He was also cherished by other loving family members and friends.
