She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Sonders and Harold Perlstein; and her sister Debra Feldman. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph Salama; her children, Dr. David Salama (Pauline), Evan Salama (Melissa) and Jill Handman (Jason); her daughter-in-law Rebecca Abel; her grandchildren, Elliot Salama, Ari Salama, Oliver Salama, Molly Salama, Benji Salama, Ruby Salama, Jake Handman and Otis Handman; her sister Bonnie Levin (Morry); and her siblings-in-law, Dr. Mayer Salama, Dr. Daniel Salama and Edna Ravitz (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
