He is survived by: his wife Maxine Kay Courter; his children, Jeff Sawvel (Lois) of Ashley, Carla Banta (Dennis) of Bannister and Scott Sawvel (Ronda) of Oakley; his grandchildren, Scott, Irvin, Tiffany and Zach; his great grandchildren, Madison, Elizabeth, Gavin, Maggie, Michael and McKenzie; and his sisters-in-law, Madeline Sawvel and Shirley Stevens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
