He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer C. Brainerd and Ellen E. Brainerd (Azelton); and his siblings, Betty Alexander and James Brainerd. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Detwiler (Lisa), Jeremy Brainerd (Jody), Jacki Brainerd-Venema, Jodi Zalecki (Chad) and Jason Brainerd; and his siblings, Josephine Folker (Bill) and Rick Brainerd (Deb). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
