He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hirt and Lydia Hirt; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Denise Macias (Fred) and Douglas Hirt (Linda); his grandchildren, Alex Brown (Danielle McGraw), Cole Macias (Sabrina), Logan Hirt and Lindsey Kopechek (Daniel); his great grandchild Willow Brown; and his brother Geoffrey Hirt (Linda).
