He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Berkman and Marion Berkman; Richard "Dick" Berkman. He is survived by: his wife Claire Fleet Berkman; his children, Eric Berkman (Brett) of Framingham, Joshua Berkman (Robin) of Scotch Plains and Janna Schwartz (George) of Swampscott; his stepson Micah Siegel (Ksenia) of Palo Alto, California.; and his grandchildren, Ethan Berkman, Daniel Siegel, Max Berkman, Sofia Berkman, Mariana Siegel, Hannah Schwartz, Rebecca Berkman and Vivian Schwartz.
