With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin Jacob Mercer of Okemos, Michigan, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 32. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Benjamin Jacob departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Benjamin Jacob may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Benjamin Jacob leaves behind.

He is survived by: his parents, Donald Jeffrey and Rebecca Marie Mercer; his sisters, Rebekah Joy, Hannah Marie and Kayla Joy; his niece Brianna Joy; and his grandparents, Don, Bert Mercer and Evie Saal. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
