She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Makris and Panagiota Makris (Dorothy); her husband Lou; her siblings, Elaine, Chris and John; and her son Philip.

She is survived by: her sister Effie; her sons, Theodore (Alyssa) and Timothy (Corrin); her daughter-in-law Sarah; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Katherine, William, Sophia, Alexandra, Andrew, Ryan, Elizabeth and Eliana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Bess Stamatakos.
