She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Edick and Winifred Edick (Collins); her husband Leo Ames; her siblings, Marietta Ripley, Lew and Raymond Edick; and her sons, Tom and Mike (Star).
She is survived by: her sons, John (Dianne) and David (Charlotte). She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the Ames family asks for donations in honor of Marion be made to The Capital Area Humane Society.
