Glenn Edward Bowling, also known as "OGB" age 44, of Omer, Michigan, passed away on September 13, 2026, in Omer, Michigan. He was born on May 4, 1982, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Ralph and Peggy (Switzer) Bowling, and lived a life marked by love, strength, and devotion to the people who meant the most to him.
Glenn was the beloved husband of Julie Bowling, whom he married on September 21, 2024, the love of his life. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Gracie "Girlie" Bowling and Aaliyah Hensley, and he took great pride in being present in their lives. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his wife, Julie; his daughters, Gracie and Aaliyah; his father, Ralph Bowling; his brother, Ralph (Hope) Bowling; and his nephew, Ralph Bowling Jr.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Bowling, and his brother, Ralph Lee Bowling. The bonds he shared with his family were deep and lasting, and those who knew him will remember the quiet kindness and steady presence he brought to every relationship.
Glenn was a proud graduate of Arenac Eastern High School, where he built the foundation for the hardworking and dependable man he became. He went on to serve as Quality Control Manager at Vantage Plastics, where he was respected for his dedication, his strong work ethic, and his commitment to doing every job with care and integrity. He took pride in his work and was known as someone others could count on.
Outside of work, Glenn found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He loved hunting, fishing, and motorcycles, and these interests reflected his appreciation for the outdoors, adventure, and time well spent. Whether he was sharing stories, enjoying the open road, or spending time in nature, Glenn embraced life with a calm and steady spirit.
Glenn Edward Bowling will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. His life was a testament to devotion, resilience, and love, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him most.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 19, 2026, at 2:00pm at the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel with Pastor Tom McCoy presiding. Friends are invited to visit with family starting at 12:00pm until the time of service.
