It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aaron N. Curtis of Onaway, Michigan, who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Curtis and Mabel Curtis (Burns); his sisters, Waneta Puroll and Jean Vermilya; his brothers-in-law, Walt Puroll and Gary Vermilya; his daughter-in-law Donita Curtis; and his pets, Barney and Tillie.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Curtis of Onaway; his children, Brian Curtis of Eureka, Illinois and Julie Myers of Holland; and his stepchildren, Amy Hilliker (David) of Onaway, Jeannie Stevens (Clay) of Onaway and Ed Light of Cheboygan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chagnon Funeral Home, Inc. (20742 State St, Onaway, MI 49765). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ (21045 M-68, Onaway, MI 49765).
