She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Sova; her husband John; her siblings, Clarence, Milton, Glen Sova and Elizabeth Kwiatkowski; and her grandson Todd Borowicz.

She is survived by: her mother Catherine Sova (Fenlon); her children, Cathy Borowicz (Ken) of Cheboygan, Paula Maczka (Bob) of Novi, John (Tracy) of Florida, Duane (Amy Powell) of Traverse City and Neil (Mitzi) of North Carolina; and her siblings, Mary Gaynor of Cheboygan, Sharon LaHaie of Cheboygan, Sandy Beard of Cheboygan and Bill Sova of Cheboygan. She is also survived by Nineteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren.
