She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Burgess and Katherine Burgess (DeYoung); her husband Lawrence; and her siblings, Margaret, Mildred, Mamie, Marion, Elsie, Julia, Shirley, Art, Ken, Dale and Royce.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Nowicki (Rich) of Cheboygan, Susan Reinhold (Dwight) of Gillett and Paula Leach (Ed) of Onaway; and her grandchildren, Royce Peterman (Jessica), Lydia Parsons, Tyler Chapman (Paige), Travis Chapman, Branden Reinhold (Jessica) and Mitchell Reinhold (Charina). She is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
