She was predeceased by : her parents, Leaton Stevens and JoAnn Stevens (Wiggins); her husband Kirk C. Newsted; her nephew Leaton A. Stevens; her stepsister Leticia Walters; and her pets, Spike and Diesel.
She is survived by : her pets, Happy and Lucky; her son Kirk C. Newsted, Jr.; her brothers, Leaton Stevens (Judy) of Onaway, Ed Stevens of Onaway, Dale Stevens of Onaway, Clay Stevens (Jeannie) of Onaway, Mike Chaskey of Onaway and Tom "TJ" Baker (Diane) of Spokane, Washington; her stepbrothers, James Chaskey (Ginny) of California and Rodney Chaskey (Glenda) of St. Clair Shores; her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Lemmon (Marv), Jackie Roemer (Lynn), Angie Kelly and Wanda LaForest; and also Jim. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
