She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Hoose (Dortha Hoose) and Dortha Hoose (Cannon); her siblings, Donna May, Phylis Fay and William Ray; and her son-in-law Randall Halas.
She is survived by: her husband Jon B. Straight; her children, Cheryl Walter (Darryl), Linda Proffer-Halas, Jamie Balars (Laura), Chris Straight (Missy), Raquel Straight and Angelina Lopez (Dave); and her grandchildren, Suzanne, Christine of David, J. R. and Chandler. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
