He was predeceased by: his mother Eleanor Miller; his brothers, Chester, Gerald and Paul Miller; his siblings-in-law, Sam Oswald and Bonnie Miller; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Patricia Schubert; and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Schubert.
He is survived by: his father J. Martin Miller; his wife Karen Schubert; his siblings, Joan Oswald, Mary Orth, Darlene Miller, Michele Smalley (Walter), Thomas, Martin (Suzanne), Peter (Sallie), Philip (Lynn), Steven and Robert Miller (Jane); and his brothers-in-law, Mark (Betty) and Todd Schubert (Diane). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and 30 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home (309 W Parkdale Ave, Manistee, MI 49660). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A vigil service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (8380 5th St, Onekama, MI 49675).
